Steve: Hi everyone! Ah, it was a truly sugary adventure, you know? Buddy and Pretty, the 100% Elfetti of the Kingdom, brought me here… such a beautiful story that it even ended up in one of the comics in this magazine! I come from the Land of Forgotten Sweets — basically the place where all the happy, funny thoughts that people let go of over time end up, as they grow up all serious and boring! But don’t worry, when happiness and good moods run too low, the Land of Forgotten Sweets sends back into the world a little joker like me… and then it’s party timeeeeee!!!
Steve: Absolutely! My main job is to keep everyone’s spirits high — all the residents and visitors of the Kingdom of Santa Claus. Every time a guest arrives, I like to think they’re stepping into a party they’ll never forget. I love to see people laugh and let go — it’s like lighting up stars in the wonderful sky of the Kingdom. And of course, I organize the best pranks to keep all my friends on their toes, but always with a happy ending! I also have an almost endless collection of jokes, puns, and wordplay that I LOVVVVEEEEEE!!!
Steve: Well, you know, a few messes never hurt anyone! Actually, they often make things more fun. The trick is to not take yourself too seriously! Now that I think about it, I only manage to be super precise when I’m planning my pranks, so everything is calculated… more or less!
Steve: Ah, The King! Yes, I’m a huge rock ’n’ roll fan. Music charges me up, it clears your mind of every worry, and sets the fun in motion! I think I have something in common with the great Elvis. Maybe it’s the hairstyle, or maybe it’s just the way we get kids from 0 to 1000 years old dancing! I still remember when we sang Sweet Home Alabama together! My favorite song here in Santa Claus’ Kingdom is called Forever Good — it’s a modern tune that says so much about how we should all try to be kinder! When I sing it together with the Elves of the Kingdom, the guests join in with huge enthusiasm, waving tons of
glowing balloons!!! It’s wonderful!
Steve: Ahahaha! Recently I convinced a Sfatichino to hide Henry the Nutcracker’s magic staff! It was hilarious! But the prank I’ve always dreamed of is turning Dr. Krampy’s coal mine into a giant chocolate factory! Can you imagine that grumpy guy covered in chocolate!? I mean, how can anyone stay that grumpy… it’s super boring!
Steve: Oh, that’s a great question! For me, the key is not to take everything too seriously. Sure, there are moments when you have to be serious, but it’s important to remember that life is also a game, an adventure! I love to find the funny side of things, to play and joke around. Even in tough times, I try to think of something sweet and beautiful, just like a candy cane! And never forget to do what makes you happy, whether that’s dancing, singing, or just hanging out with friends.
Steve: For sure! You know the Sfatichinis? Dr. Krampy’s funny little helpers? Well, they were born from my collaboration with Bon Bon and Lucy the Little Star! We had so many laughs! Bon Bon is a true Master of pastry! He loves my wacky ideas and always adds a touch of magic! I spend a lot of time in his workshop… he lets me taste all his secret sweets, and on top of that, I’m totally in love with his puppy, Waffy… I think I’m his favorite treat!!!! Whenever I pick him up, he never stops licking me!
Steve: Oh, that’s a tough choice! But I think I’d turn Lampo into a giant chocolatey marshmallow! That way, for one day, he’d stop training and become all soft and squishy! He’s still a true friend, a reindeer who really cares about everyone’s health! Often in the Kingdom, we’re the first to welcome kids who come running to ask for an autograph!!! But yes… a day as a Marshmallow would do him some good!
Steve: Oh, of course! Here’s a sweet joke for you: Why is ice cream always so sad? Because it only has one cup! Ah ah! I have to write that one down! You know, I keep all my new jokes collected in this magical, hilarious big book here in my amazing candy-cane-shaped house! When someone comes in, even if I’m not home, the book opens up and starts telling jokes to make them laugh! Remember, laughing is the best way to live a long, sweet life just like candy!
Steve: You know, to me, smiling is like doing magic! Every time you smile, not only do you feel better, but you can also make the people around you happier! When we laugh, we forget our problems for a moment and everything feels lighter. That’s why I think smiling is one of the most special gifts we can give each other!
